Wednesday Night Fun Run
This course has been used by WTMC for the last 5-6 years and covers a lot of the well lit roads around Waitakere. It has some challenging little climbs and some nice downhills sections too. Here are some tips for running this course:
- In the winter we recommend that you wear reflective clothing.
- Be wary of traffic when crossing key points such as the roundabout by Westwave Pools and the roads and driveways along Lincoln Road.
- The lighting under the bridge on central park drive varies - dependant on the pruning of trees by the council.
- NO portable music players are to be worn. It is ridiculous to assume that you can hear vehicles, other runners or pedestrians when wearing Ipods etc. Avoid being embarrased and ask not to go on the run - don't wear one:-).

Saturday Duathlon Bike Course
This course has been used by WTMC for the last 5-6 years and covers nice rolling quiet roads around the end of Te Atatu Peninsula. Here are some tips for the course:
- Roads are a mix of smooth ashphalt and coarse chip.
- The roundabouts can be slippery in the wet - we recommend caution.
- You can do as many laps as you like - just count as you go past the Wharf Road turn-off each time. (Laps are 2.5kms each)
- The course is marked with arrows on every corner.
- There is a climb out of transition - set your gears accordingly.
- Be wary when coming back onto transition as it is a downhill section almost all the way to the rack.

- Parts of the course are narrow and there are runners going along the out and back course.
- The course can get icy in winter and the board walks can be slippery when they are wet.
- At the end of the outwards leg there is a picnic table that you must touch before returning.

Monthly Social Club Ride
A very social cruisy ride for clubbies. Ideal if you are looking for a ride that allows for plenty of chatter and with a focus on looking after each other:
- Riders are expected to ride as a pack.
- All riders are expected to carry emergency contact information (membership card).
- Riders should bring a spare tube, tools and cellphone if possible.
- Parts of the road are narrow - please obey the calls of the ride leader in these areas in particular.
- Experienced riders should make all calls clear - Car Back, Car Front, Stopping, Slowing, Clear at intersections and pointing out obstructions on the road.
- There are ample opportunities for beginners to turn back with a club rider to escort them.
